Instant exchangers, and what you hand over to use one
An exchanger asks you to send first and trust after. The rate on the page is the part everyone compares; the part worth comparing is what happens in the minutes between your transfer arriving and theirs leaving.
The custody gap
Every instant exchanger works the same way: you send the asset to an address they control, and they send the other asset back. Between those two events the money is entirely theirs, and your only recourse is their support queue. The exchange is a promise until it is not, which is why aggregator sites publish reserve figures and reputation scores. Those exist because the risk is real.
What the quoted rate leaves out
A headline rate is quoted against an amount and a moment. What arrives depends on the rate when your transfer actually lands, on any spread taken quietly on the way, and on a minimum below which the operation is refunded rather than completed. None of that is visible when you are comparing rows on a comparison site.
What is different here
The wallet never holds your keys, so there is no window in which your funds belong to someone else. The amount that will arrive, the 0.25% service fee and the guaranteed minimum are on the confirmation screen before you sign, and the operation is refused rather than completed if the market moves below that floor.
The honest limitation
An exchanger will handle assets and pairs this wallet does not, and there are a lot of them. If what you need is outside the 21 assets here, an exchanger is how you get it, and the thing to check is who you are trusting for the length of the transfer.

Several wallets in one account, unlinked on-chain
Hold as many wallets as you need inside one Telegram account. Their addresses are not linked on-chain, so paying from one tells nobody about the others. Send to a @username or to any address.
Questions
Is a wallet slower than an exchanger?
No. Both wait on the same networks. An exchanger adds its own processing time on top of the two chain confirmations rather than removing either of them.
Do I have to send first?
No. There is no address you send to and hope. The operation happens from your own balance, with the outcome quoted and guaranteed before you approve it.
What if the rate moves while it runs?
Every quote carries a floor. If the market moves far enough that the result would fall below it, the operation does not proceed rather than delivering less than promised.
What about pairs you do not support?
The wallet serves 21 assets across 19 chains. Outside that list an exchanger or an exchange is the route, and the trade-off is the custody gap described above.
